Mission of the National Advocacy Access Clinic

Our project includes participation from patients, advocates, professional allies and patient advocacy groups & organizations that have been adversely impacted by the approach of policymakers to health care and by the predatory practices of the health care machine itself.

Our Mission is to collaborate with stakeholders to restore the inviolability of the doctor/patient relationship through exposure of the emerging crisis in patient care, and to provoke a conversation about adequate and equal care for all individuals. We also aim to restore, protect and defend medical choice and patient centered care via education, training and advocacy and to accurately record this crisis in delivery of care.

How You Can Help

Get involved, speak up and advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves. If you care about human rights, please join this community’s advocacy efforts. We strongly encourage you to get involved. There are many ways that you can do that, getting involved in this project’s efforts is just one way that you can make a positive impact for people having difficulty navigating the health care system, and who are struggling with the extreme changes in the delivery of care which are being implemented nationwide.

Our Most Recent Projects:

  • Community Collaborative & Repository

We developed a central repository for information related to the health care crisis so that our community and other interested parties could find information more easily in one place. The platform can also be used as a collaborative tool between advocacy groups to interface with the chronic illness community and execute advocacy campaigns.

If you are interested in participating in our Community Collaborative & Repository, please read our announcement introducing this amazing platform. We hope that this resource will bring great value to patients, advocates and allies from all over the United States and beyond.

  • Community Calendar

We launched a community calendar project to keep track of:

– Future meetings hosted by state & federal agencies
– Requests for public comment by state & federal agencies
– Legislative bills that are being voted on in each state
– Summits on changes to public health policy in regard to medication and other guidelines at the state and federal levels
– Advocacy campaigns that advocacy groups are working on that have calls to action

Please take a look at our announcement introducing this new community project for more details.

  • State Chapters Program

The National Advocacy Access Clinic has partnered with the Chronic Illness Advocacy & Awareness Group (CIAAG) to develop State Chapters via our joint State Leadership Program.

Please read our formal announcement introducing this historic project and find out how you can get involved!
